Smart Contract Account Delegation
Externally owned accounts can behave like smart contracts by delegating functionality. This unlocks features like batching transactions into a single signature for improved UX, gas sponsorship, and allows different users (e.g., Brad and Fahad) to use the same smart contract code while maintaining separate states. Interactions happening through 7702 are stateless, so no new state is created in the smart contract that is being delegated to. This system describes the interaction and allows batching and sponsored transactions to pass through without any new data being written. Any data written is stored in the smart contract state without differentiating between users.
