Putin's Potential Role in the Middle East Conflict
Putin aims to be useful in the Middle East by engaging in discussions about Gaza with Netanyahu and Abbas, and has talked to the President of Iran. Despite good relations with Israel and no enmity towards Iran, Putin's involvement could prevent Hamas from dominating. With the rise of radical Islam and the potential of an extremist country with nuclear weapons, we should align with Russia to prepare for the future civilization-wide war between Islam and the rest. It's a fight against radicalism, not Islam itself.
