Imagine a hidden place within a tent called the holy of holies that can only be accessed once a year by the high priest. To enter, he must bring blood with him to part the veil. However, this author suggests that a sinless sacrifice is needed to permanently keep the veil open. Enter Christ, the high priest of good things to come, who enters the holy place and obtains eternal redemption for us. Now, the once-exclusive holy of holies is open for everyone to enter.
