Episode 460: Don't fight to keep people (you lose when you win)

NOTE

Letting Go of Relationships and Wishing Well

When a relationship reaches its natural end, whether due to differing paths or personal aspirations, it is crucial to let go without resentment. Wishing the departing individual well, even if just in your heart, can facilitate your own healing and improve the chances they may eventually regret their decision. Avoid the temptation to justify your worth or remind them of your contributions; such actions often breed resentment rather than gratitude. People do not lose the benefits of your past support when they leave; they only lose what they still desire but have not yet received. If you feel compelled to assert your value, it usually indicates that they have already failed to recognize it, and further argument will likely prove ineffective.
