Staying Connected Through Lullabies and Paintings
During a challenging time of cancer recurrence and a busy professional season for John, a creative approach was taken to stay connected. John composed lullabies daily to envelop the speaker with his presence despite physical distance. In return, the speaker shared photos of her paintings, creating a shared creative language. This exchange helped shift conversations from medical updates to a more meaningful and expressive dialogue centered around their love language and creativity.
