Continuous Updating of the Cognitive Model

When individuals engage with information like reading a book or an article, their cognitive model is updated by integrating each sentence and paragraph. The process involves assessing if the information aligns with existing knowledge, triggers new thoughts, contradictions, or sparks the need for further research. This active digestion and integration of information lead to real intelligence or cognitive AI, contrasting from the generative statistical AI which passively processes information without making sense of it. The goal of AGI or cognitive AI is to develop thinking machines that continuously update their models by establishing linkages between concepts.
