Aquinas 101 - Course 3: God and Creation

NOTE

Stark Raving Simplicity

God isn't simple merely in this or that respect, but in every respect. Aquinas does say something along those lines; even so, I think it's possible to overstate the case. Someone who understands divine simplicity as stark raving simplicity might be inclined to say, there are three persons in one God, therefore God isn't simple. But if such an answer isn't allowable, its unallowableness is something that would have to be argued for.
