In Romans 6:4, it says that when we are baptized, we are buried with Christ and raised up with Him through faith. This means that we have a new life in Him, just like He was raised from the dead. When we reflect on the sacrament, we are not only thinking about His sacrifice, but also about our new life in Him. Walking with Christ means being buried with Him in baptism and rising with Him. This symbolizes our death to our old selves and our rebirth as something new in Him. It's like doing what He did and being like Him.

Through trials and faith, Professor Lori Denning explores the power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and its capacity to make people more like the Savior.
