Different Putter, Different Performance
Using a high-tech putter improved lag putting significantly due to the forgiveness and design features of the putter, allowing for better squaring of the face and improved long putts. However, the instant struggle was with short putts, mainly due to alignment issues. With conventional putters, the focus is more on manipulation through impact, making alignment less critical than with modern high-tech putters.
