In the early days, our marketing focus was mostly on building a brand community rather than generating sales leads. We believed that trying to sell our product right away wouldn't make sense for users who were just learning about us. Instead, we showcased HR leaders who shared our vision and amplified their voices through high-quality interviews and blogs. We aimed to create an umbrella community where these underheard customers could gather, rather than being the center of attention ourselves. This approach not only helped us build relationships, but also gave a platform to HR practitioners whose ideas were often overlooked by their own executives.
