One approach is to leverage their desires by setting conditions, like eating healthy food before watching a movie or playing games. However, it's important to strike a balance and not make them feel pressured. The author sometimes cuts Brussels sprouts in half and eats them together with the child to make it more enjoyable. When it comes to grocery shopping, they prefer doing it alone as a little escape from the chaos of home but occasionally take the kids along to involve them in the process.
