NOTE

True happiness lies in the journey of becoming.

Happiness can be categorized into four distinct levels according to Socratic philosophy. The first level is material happiness, which is tied to physical objects and offers only temporary satisfaction. The second level focuses on ego-bound achievements, where success and accolades provide a fleeting sense of fulfillment. The third level emphasizes the importance of doing good in the world, but this too is ephemeral, requiring continual effort to sustain that sense of happiness through dopamine-driven actions. The ultimate and most stable form of happiness lies in the fourth level: transcendence and the journey of becoming. This level encourages individuals to reflect on their personal growth and self-discovery, emphasizing that true happiness is rooted in the ongoing process of becoming the best version of oneself, rather than reaching a definitive end goal. It is through recognizing and nurturing our innate gifts and truths that we can embark on this meaningful journey.
