To assess judgment in hiring, we should consider if candidates have made decisions based on their own judgment, learned from their experiences, and made decisions based on first principles. Additionally, evaluating specific skills and understanding the reasons for hiring is important. Being a successful founder requires being a 'weirdo' or highly exceptional in a particular area, rather than being average at everything.
