Mitigating the Slow Component in Exercise Performance

Endurance training helps in reducing the amplitude of slow components in exercise by enabling muscles to endure more and fatigue less, thereby decreasing the demand for slow components. Another effective strategy is priming exercise, involving heavy exercise before the main bouts, to mitigate the slow component and optimize exercise performance.
