The Multipolar Trap Problem
If you have a kind of situation where one side benefits from instituting violence again, then it probably is not going to be very stable ultimately. You always have to be resistant to invaders who basically break the social premise. And so if we were to get to a world of deep peace, we would have to all be confident that we have eliminated the ability to be invaded by destabilizing people who are essentially cheating. That's what as your classic, yes, as evolutionary stable strategy from a game theory perspective.
