Empowerment through Breast Density Awareness
Recognizing breast density can categorize women at high risk for breast cancer, prompting additional screenings in some states. Despite the prevalence of dense breasts among women, questioning the accuracy of being labeled high risk is understandable. The advocacy for breast density recognition stemmed from cases where cancer was missed in routine mammograms. Implementing this awareness as standard practice has significantly improved the ability to predict breast cancer using advanced planning models.
