Starting, getting good, and strategy are the three levels in content creation. Most people get held back worrying about strategy before they have even started creating content. The three levels progress from 'get going' to 'get good' and finally to 'get smart' which includes strategy. The strategy is only useful when the execution is good. Internal quality and external quality are two barriers within 'get good'. The internal quality is when creators no longer cringe at their own content while the external quality involves traction, views, likes, comments, and subscribes on the videos. Only when a creator's content passes one of these quality bars, are they ready to think about strategy.
