The Origins of Coffee
Coffee's origins trace back to Ethiopia where it grew wild and was used for various preparations such as a tea-like drink and a snack. The earliest record of coffee being drunk is unclear, but the first known consumers were in Yemen. The question of who invented coffee has no clear answer. The coffee we drink today is the closest to wild coffee.
