Instead of succumbing to the negative spiral of self-doubt and frustration, one should learn to quiet the mind and let such thoughts pass. Over time, by not engaging with negative thoughts and allowing new, more constructive thoughts to emerge, the frequency and intensity of the negative thoughts decrease, resulting in a more positive mental landscape.
