What Is Faith For?
The faith is like a tractor beam of the mind, gentle and unviolent, drawing us into the presence of god. And what is faith for? In this life, it's for belief. And in the life to come, it’s for vision. Faith nourishes our faith. That grace of faith is nourished in us by the presence of christ among us in the incarnation - we can have living contact with him.
