Building a Successful Partnership: Lessons from Instagram and Artifact
Building alignment was different this time around than with Instagram, where Kevin had some initial seed funding contingent on finding a technical cofounder./nThe process from that to starting was not from us deciding to do it together to starting wasn't contingent on us figuring out whether we were good partners. We did some of that but most of that was actually me getting my work thesis so that was an artificial delay./nDoing Artifact this time around was more successful because we grew and saw things spent a good couple weeks just making sure that we were aligned on what we wanted out of this experience.
