So yeah, so the idea is to keep coming back down, the throat, the chest, the belly, that's where the vagal nerve, which is where all the emotions run through, those are the three main centers where it takes courage, but to keep coming back there, you then you discover again the awake kind awareness that's there./nAnd I found for myself over and over that when I can stay with the felt sense in the body, there's a natural tenderness that opens because it becomes clear that it's unpleasant and it's difficult. And yet there's a tender response to that. And that's another way that the compassion awakens.
