The Inverse Correlation Between the Bond Market and the Stock Market

There is a very clear threshold around say 3.7 to 4% in the coal inflation measure. When we pass that from the low side to the upside, we usually get a breakdown of the correlation between the bond market and the stock market. So this whole idea that the treasury market will function as a risk, safe haven when the equity market sells off doesn't work with core PC above 4%. That's what is guided by history. It also leads to value out performing growth and stuff like that when you move above 4%.
