The Laws of Flywheels
A linear process can be turned into a flywheel by creating a closed loop where each step flows smoothly into the next. The three laws of flywheels are: 1) Activities flow smoothly from one into the next, 2) Each rotation is easier than the previous rotation, and 3) Each rotation produces more than the previous rotation. Understanding and mapping out these laws can result in a process that operates smoothly, becomes easier over time, and ultimately produces more and more over time.
