Ethics Professors are not more ethical
Empirical studies have consistently shown that ethics professors behave similarly to other professors and individuals when it comes to moral behavior. While there have been a few instances where ethicists exhibited slightly better or worse behavior in certain aspects, the general conclusion is that they behave comparably to other groups. This suggests that studying moral philosophy or being an ethics professor does not inherently make individuals more moral.
