You're standing up for yourself when she's mean to you, which needs to be done a lot more than guys do. You need to say things that come across like you give a shit about your goals in this marriage or this relationship. Some of you put up with literal emotional abuse. The more you let it happen, the less she's going to respect you. And the less you'll respect yourself. This is why we can't let that happen.
