Domains of Applicability and Cross-Talk Between Different Levels
Different levels of descriptions, such as discussing the fusion of hydrogen nuclei or the behavior of a star, can exist independently without needing to reference one another. However, when transitioning to complex systems like society, the distinction between purely macroscopic and microscopic effects becomes less clear. In such cases, the individual constituents' complex nature and non-local interactions may lead to cross-talk between different levels of description.
