Finding the Writer's Path
Leaving college with a degree in writing did not provide a clear understanding of what it means to be a writer. Moving through various roles in different cities, the speaker realized that being a writer took on various forms. Meeting people from different backgrounds made the speaker recognize that there was no direct path to becoming a writer. Despite the uncertainty, writing was a constant source of fulfillment, leading the speaker to create zines and little books as a natural expression of creativity.
