The Evolutionary Benefits of Specific Problems
Human behavior should be viewed as hierarchical and focused on solving specific problems which can have multiple sub-problems. Evolutionary pressure is not to make brains bigger but to solve specific problems such as collaborating to get food, which brings about cognitive, communicative, and socio-moral challenges. The benefit of having big brains should be specific, not vague like the ability to have podcasts in the future.
