The Benefits of Nature and Grounding

Getting out into nature has numerous benefits and the practice of grounding, where people connect with the earth, has theories about how it improves mental and physical health. Some studies have explored this practice in the laboratory, while others have people go outside and place their feet on the ground. Theories suggest that the exchange of electrons with the earth and the tactile sensation with the ground are important factors. Though there may not be a lot of scientific evidence in highly regarded journals, there are so many variables associated with grounding that it is still worth getting outside and connecting with nature.
