It is a key part of leading a deep life, as it unlocks a deep understanding of one's capabilities. To find time for these projects, limit screen time and implement the 'phone foyer method' to free the brain and allow for focus on mastering complex skills.

One of the more important abilities to cultivate for the year ahead is comfort learning complicated (and therefore valuable) new things.
