The Frankfurt School's Influence on Fighting Fascism

Reich believed that fighting fascism would require a transformation of the German psyche/nHe attributed Germans' attraction to authoritarian politics to sexual repression and rigid sex roles within the family/nReich expressed a real hatred of the working class in his book, which was not uncommon among Marxists at the time/nThese ideas were later adopted by the American security services, particularly the OSS, for the reeducation of Germans after their defeat and occupation.
