Obedience Unlocks Spiritual Progress

True obedience to God requires yielding to the Holy Spirit and exercising self-restraint against temptations. Merely identifying as a child of God while indulging in every desire limits spiritual growth. Progress in the natural world does not equate to movement in the spiritual realm; without taking deliberate steps in obedience, one remains stagnant. Genuine advancement in the spiritual life is only achieved by acting on God's guidance.
