**Social capital **
Social capital, such as having a rich uncle or many network connections, can positively impact individual well-being. However, the focus should be on whether collective outcomes are improved. Research in Tanzania showed that the associational life and social capital of some individuals in a village significantly influenced the well-being of others in the same village. This study highlighted that increased associational life led to substantial improvements in the well-being of fellow villagers, demonstrating the interconnectedness and impact of social capital on a community level.
