Iterative Reasoning Trace Analysis
An iterative approach is proposed to analyze reasoning traces by progressively evaluating different parts of the trace through a completion game. By systematically discarding halves of the trace and assessing model performance with the true label, the method can pinpoint bugs or issues at different stages of reasoning without human oversight.
