Finding the Goodness in Ordinary Life

One of the key tasks of our apprenticeship to Jesus is to find the goodness of God in our actual life, today, not in an idealized future. Even in the midst of challenges, our lives are filled with God's love and restfulness. It is essential to make the effort to enter into this rest and live from a spirit of restfulness, even though it may require hard work and preparation.
