The fear of never creating something as pure again can be a motivator for continued productivity. Having an early success may have hindered the progression of further creative works. The unrealized potential allows for continuous growth and development. Being labeled a one hit wonder can be a curse, but it does not mean the end of creative success, just an unconventional order of accomplishments.
