I never feel like I've arrived because I'm always working on improving. I became obsessive about making my life better once I realized it was possible. Our behavior reflects how we see ourselves, and for a long time, I didn't value myself. But I had a moment of realization when I understood that my behavior could shape me into a different person, someone I admired. So I mapped out the person I wanted to be and worked backwards to achieve it. Making a lot of money wasn't the ultimate goal; my aim was to write a million-dollar check to my church, which meant making 10 million dollars in total. I wanted to protect my family and help others. That realization was a lightbulb moment for me.
