Build a "Challenge" Network, Not Just a Support Network

A challenge network is a group of people who provide unvarnished feedback and push you to improve. It is different from a support network, which is a group of cheerleaders who motivate and encourage you. Building a challenge network involves surrounding yourself with individuals who tear apart your logic, improve your reasoning, and help you make better decisions. This network is based on tough love and the belief that you can do better. A great member of a challenge network pushes you because they believe in you and refuse to settle for mediocre work.
