Case in Point: The Legal Show on the Hottest Legal Cases in Politics and Culture

NOTE

The Originalism of the 14th Amendment

The book applies originalism to the three big clauses in the 14th Amendment due process, privileges or immunities, equal protection./nThe claim of the book, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that essentially the originalist understanding of those three clauses is very different from the understanding that the Supreme Court has over the many years read into them./nThe book's main finding is that process of law is procedural, and that before the government can take away your rights, there must be law that you violated.
