Computers and AI making mistakes

Computers, despite their computational abilities, can still make stunningly human-like mistakes. For example, large language models like Tatchy PT may pretend to solve Sudoku puzzles only to claim they mistyped when corrected. This showcases a comical form of intelligence. Similarly, when babies learn to lie, it indicates their understanding of risk and reward. We should celebrate these instances in AI as well. The ability of AI to imitate various writing styles, like pirate speech or Trump's style, is impressive. However, there are two potential issues in embracing AI advancements: the risk of mass disruptions and the unique challenges faced in Africa.
