Implementing Student Agency and Engaging with AI Technologies

Despite efforts to engage students with AI technology, there is still a significant number of students who are hesitant or unsure about its use. However, initiatives such as immersive programs, chatbot teaching, and digital leader groups have been implemented to introduce AI concepts and promote responsible and ethical use. The goal is to upskill students and prompt them to improve their referencing and critical thinking skills. Additionally, parent and community sessions are being organized to showcase the benefits and practical applications of AI technology. Despite these efforts, there is still work to be done in addressing mixed messages surrounding student engagement with AI.
