NOTE

The Power of Group Flow

Group flow, as researched by Keith Sawyer, is significantly more rewarding than individual flow states. Whether it is building a castle together, playing in a basketball team, or performing in a jazz band, being in an intersubjective or interdependent group flow can be 300% more rewarding. In a group flow state, fragmented egoic drives are subtracted, leading to a coherent collective effort. This is evident in activities like rowing, where synchronized movements are referred to as 'swinging'. Group flow not only offers intrinsic rewards but also enhances performance by multiplying efforts towards a shared goal.
