Many individuals seek advice on social media but often seem more interested in the validation of their actions rather than actually implementing the advice. People might ask for guidance but tend to disregard it, seeking the dopamine hit from sharing their efforts rather than completing their goals. Scientifically, the brain releases dopamine when discussing pursuing goals as it does when achieving them. This behavior can result in individuals prioritizing external validation over internal growth and problem-solving.
