The project I'm working on at Google involves using .db as a middle ETL piece to ingest data. We use Doug DB to export the data to BigQuery or other databases. This allows us to do transformations in RAM without writing to disk. It's cool! We also use SQL lab database management system. We were recruited to use Doug DB and it's been a success. I love the standard library and my favorite CLI building tool is click. Rich is a package that makes terminals look beautiful. You can use click and rich separately.
