NOTE

Beta-Alanine & Carnosine for Muscular Stamina

There is no risk of depleting histidine when supplementing with beta-alanine./nBeta-alanine is recommended for intracellular buffering./nBicarbonate or creatine can be used for extracellular buffering, but beta-alanine is the best option./nTransdermal carnosine gel, such as Lactago gel, can be an effective alternative to beta-alanine supplementation./nUsing both beta-alanine and transdermal carnosine gel is not necessary./nOrally ingested beta-alanine has a high non-responder rate and most of it goes to non-carnosine directed pathways./nTransdermal carnosine gel is a better option than beta-alanine due to its immediate absorption and lack of issues with oral metabolization.
