How I Write
The Impact of Revelation and the Importance of Stillness
Believing in divine revelation has transformed my creative process. I now prioritize quietness and openness, which allows clear ideas to be air dropped to me. Rick Rubin also attests to receiving creative insights in a similar way. Most people are constantly busy, but I value spending time alone and thinking. Walks in nature help me enter a different state of mind where new thoughts and connections emerge. I acknowledge the possibility of divine revelation guiding my creativity. It's about creating space for answers instead of trying to think them into existence. Many people struggle with being alone and being present with themselves. But when you reach that state, thoughts flow more easily. It requires introspection and openness to ancient texts. There is humility in the process, recognizing the need to allow ideas to simmer and develop.
