Researchers from MIT are using the alpha-full two architecture as a flow matching model to generate ensembles of conformations for proteins. This model helps in understanding the transient interactions between residues by producing multiple protein states which can be clustered and analyzed for proximity of residues in different states. By running the alpha flow model, researchers can generate thousands of protein conformations trained on molecular dynamics data, providing insights into the dynamics and interactions between residues.
