Consuming a large amount of information is key to having aha moments and being creative. The best creators spend a lot of time consuming content and developing their knowledge in a specific field. It's important to consume material in a narrow, deep, vertical way instead of being a generalist. By immersing yourself in a specific area, you increase the likelihood of having creative breakthroughs.
