Reconnecting with the Natural World and the SNOL Method
To pursue a harmonious relationship with the natural world, it is recommended to reconnect with the earth, trees, plants, wind, water, and fire. This reconnection not only helps us feel better but also serves as an antidote to climate change. Currently, many societies see the natural world as a resource to dominate, but we should strive for a more indigenous way of being, where we live in community with nature. One method suggested is SNOL, which stands for see, name, own, and experience, allowing us to take responsibility, get curious about sensations, and let go of fixations in order to practice clarity and choose our responses.
